The CCC Sets Regulations for the Dairy Product Price Support Program Sunday, July 18, 2010 (344 reads)
The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) specified regulations for the Dairy Product Price Support Program (DPPSP), which replaces the Price Support Program for Milk, and amends regulations for the Dairy Indemnity Payment Program (DIPP). The rule specifies the minimum price support levels for cheddar cheese, butter and nonfat dry milk, and also specifies the minimum price at which CCC may sell dairy products from inventory.

China Uncovers More Melamine Tainted Dairy Materials Monday, July 12, 2010 (302 reads)
Food safety officials in China have seized raw milk and finished milk powder products said to contain 500 times the maximum allowable level of melamine. Much of the raw material was purchased from Hebei province, the site of a 2008 tainted-milk scandal that killed six babies and sickened hundreds of thousands.
