Are You Ready To Become An ADPI Member?
ADPI membership is open to all companies involved in the dairy industry. Membership dues vary by category. Manufacturer, Associate Manufacturer, Trading Company and International members are all entitled to board representation and pay dues based on the size of their company.
 
All members receive discounted registration for ADPI meetings, weekly ADPI publications, access to all ADPI services and eligibility to participate on any ADPI committees or task forces.
 ADPI Membership Categories  


ADPI membership is open to all companies involved in the dairy industry and membership dues vary by category. 

► Manufacturer, Associate Manufacturer and Trading Company (Tier I) members are eligible for board representation and pay dues based on size of their companies relative to production and/or sales.

 ► Trading Company (Tier II), Affiliate, International, Utilization and Individual members are not eligible for board representation and their respective dues are a flat fee based as determined by the Board of Directors.

► All members receive discounted registration fees for ADPI hosted meetings, seminars, conferences, and forums, as well as ADPI publications. All have access to ADPI services and eligibility to participate on/in ADPI committees and task force groups as appropriate.


Classes of Membership:

As used herin, the term "milk solids" shall be limited to those raw milk and/or whey solids [processed into finished and/or intermediate marketable products] upon which the calculation of dues is based.

•  Manufacturer: Firms processing milk and/or milk solids into finished, marketable and/or intermediate products at a plant located within the United States. Manufacturer members are Voting Members and eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of Directors.

•  Associate Manufacturer: Firms which continue the processing of milk and or milk solids (for example, agglomeration, hydrolysis, fermentation, blending) at a plant located within the United States, and market a finished dairy product. Associate Manufacturer members are Voting Members and eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of Directors. Manufacturers are not eligible to be Associate Manufacturer members.

•  Trading Company
        -  Tier I: Firms which are involved in the marketing and distribution of dairy products produced in the United States. Tier I Trading Company members are Voting Members and eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of Directors. Manufacturers and Associate Manufacturers are not eligible to be Trading Company Tier I members. 
 (Dues based on annual sales of U.S. produced dairy ingredients. Please contact Steve Griffin at sgriffin@adpi.org for dues structure)

        -  Tier II: Firms which are involved in the marketing and distribution of dairy products produced in the United States. Tier II Trading Company members are not Voting Members and are not eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of Directors. Manufacturers and Associate Manufacturers are not eligible to be Trading Company Tier II members. 
 (Membership Dues: $1,600 annually)

 International Companies: Firms which process or further process milk and/or milk solids, and do not have a dairy plant located within the United States. International members are not Voting Members and are not eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of  Directors. Manufacturers, Associate Manufacturers, and Trading Companies (Tier I and II) are not eligible to be International members.

•  Affiliate:  Firms which are manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers of equipment, materials, and/or services to the dairy industry. Affiliate members are not Voting Members and are not eligible for representation on the ADPI Board of Directors. Manufacturers, Associate Manufacturers, Trading Companies (Tier I, II), and International members are not eligible to be Affiliate members.
 (Membership Dues: $1,600 annually)

•  Utilization: Firms using dairy products which neither process milk solids, nor supply equipment, materials or services to the industry.
 (Membership Dues: $1,300 annually)

 

•  Individual: Persons who have been active participants in ADPI for five (5) or more years, and who are retired or semi-retired; or, if otherwise qualified but actively employed in a capacity relating to the industry (i.e., consultant), their employing firm/partnership contains three (3) or fewer employees.
