Advanced Process Technologies, Inc.
PO Box 939 150 Swendra Boulevard Cokato Minnesota United States

Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. (APT) serves the Dairy & Food industry with plant concept, design, process, electrical/automation and mechanical engineering; along with equipment manufacturing and complete installation. We are committed to design, fabricate, and install the best system possible for your new or existing facility.

Founded in 2000, Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. currently employs over 100 personnel throughout our (4) manufacturing facilities.  With (2) locations in Cokato, MN, (1) in Jerome, ID and our most recent addition, a facility acquired in Visalia, CA. With a total of 64,000 sq. ft. in state-of-the-art facilities we are well equipped to serve our customers.  In 2006, our first Advanced Cheese Vat (ACV) was developed and installed to provide the industry with a design proven to enhance cheese yields and provide performance that is unsurpassed in cheesemaking operations. With this product line expansion, also came a 22,000 square foot addition to our facility enabling our manufacturing team to increase production and also aided in the design and manufacturing of additional capital equipment. With (3) US patents, the Advanced Cheese Vat is a signature piece of equipment designed and manufactured by APT.  Since our first ACV customers in 2006, we have worked closely with a multitude of plants thorough out the US and Canada to design, fabricate and install our ACV’s.

In 2010, APT announced the merger with Advanced Automation – Page, NE whose core business is electrical engineering, providing automation controls, programming, hardware and software services. With an electrical controls/automation staff of over twenty five, our capabilities not only include the automation of our own equipment but also we have the talent, size, and experience to automate and integrate our customers entire process.

In 2011, APT announced the opening of a new location in Jerome, ID to better serve the growing Western market with the ultimate goal to better serve customers. This location is staffed with Mechanical, Process and Electrical/Automation Engineers, as well as, Field Installers.

APT’s commitment to complete customer satisfaction was enhanced in 2014 with the expansion of a second Minnesota location.  This new 15,000 square foot facility increased APT’s production area by 30% and includes a brand new sandblasting area, which allows APT to sandblast large pieces of equipment. The addition of the sandblast booth allows us to keep all aspects of the stainless steel fabrication process in-house which in turn creates savings for APT and our customers.

Also in 2014, APT successfully manufactured and installed its first four Advanced Finishing Vats (AFV’s).  The AFV is an instrumental part of APT’s line of cheesemaking equipment as we  continue to be committed to customer needs for product consistency with increased profits. APT’s new enclosed AFV’s are available in several sizes to meet the demands of high volume production plants. Typically utilized in high volume stirred curd production plants, our AFV's will generate labor savings through increased thru-put, reduced maintenance, and automatic CIP cleaning.

2015 marked sixteen years in business, APT’s dynamic team continues to grow with the addition of a fourth facility in Visalia, California to ensure our customers will continue to receive quality products with on-time delivery. President Craig Campbell states, “Providing conceptual designs, engineered solutions and a full line of cheesemaking equipment solidifies our position in the food and dairy industry. We are very excited about the future of APT. As our industry continues to grow, we will continue to expand to meet
