World Bank Launches Initiative to Promote Kyrgyzstan’s Dairy Products

The World Bank has launched a new initiative called the Dairy Sector Development Program, which will support promotion and growth of the dairy industry in Kyrgyzstan through efforts including vaccinating animals, increasing the capacity of veterinary services and expanding the production capacity and supply chains of private dairy processors, including farms, milk collectors and cooperatives.

CWT Assists with 1.8 Million Pounds of Cheese and Whole Milk Powder Export Sales

Cooperatives Working Together (CWT) has accepted 9 requests for export assistance to sell 1.334 million pounds (605 metric tons) of Cheddar, Colby, Gouda, and Monterey Jack cheese, and 440,925 pounds (200 metric tons) of whole milk powder to customers in Asia, Central America, and North Africa.
