Consumers Decision To Buy Non-GMO Foods Often Determined By Price

Two-thirds of primary shoppers say they aren't willing to pay more for foods made without genetically modified ingredients, while half of those who shop mostly at specialty stores say they would, according to a study by The NPD Group. The study also found that more than half of U.S. consumers are concerned about whether foods contain GMOs, but many say they are not concerned or don't know about them.

Fonterra Opens New Dairy Distribution Faciliy in Dubai

New Zealand-based Fonterra has opened a dairy distribution facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that can hold 5,000 tons of product for distribution in Africa, the Middle East and other countries in the region. "By storing product in market, we can provide our customers with greater flexibility, significantly reducing product delivery times and providing access to high quality dairy ingredients as and when they need it," said Miles Hurrell, Fonterra's general manager in those regions.

$3.5 Million Chobani Expansion Approved For Idaho Location

Warrnambool Doubles Half Year Profit
