International Whey Conference
September | Biennially in Chicago, IL and Europe
American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) in collaboration with European Whey Products Association (EWPA) hosts the International Whey Conference (IWC) every two years, alternating between a U.S. location and an European location. The 2024 International Whey Conference will take place in Dublin, Ireland in September.
The focus of the conference is to highlight the latest industry trends, new applications and most current research related to a wide range of whey products, showcasing whey as a value-added ingredient with tremendous consumer health and nutrition benefits. Research has already established that whey is one of the most highly nutritional and multi-functional proteins available, which can improve almost any food or beverage product.
The IWC Marketplace is a central gathering place for attendees during the conference highlighting innovative whey-based ingredients, processing equipment and products. Here, industry professionals and researchers from all over the world will discuss how to connect the science and technology to real-world commercial applications.

Dairy Ingredients 360 Training Course
For Individuals
Are you relatively new to the dairy ingredients industry and seeking basic understanding for how dairy ingredients are manufactured, marketed and used? Do you wish to have a greater appreciation for the connections between marketing, economics, processing and utilization of dairy ingredients? Or would you just like to refresh your broader knowledge of this sector? If you have answered yes to any of these questions the ADPI Dairy Ingredients 360 Training Course is for you!
This virtual and interactive educational and development course provides participants with 36 hours of instructional content delivered in an on-demand format featuring quizzes and live Q&A sessions with instructors. The course is offered twice a year and runs approximately three months.
Dairy 101 Training
For Companies
ADPI offers customized training programs to its Member companies across a number of categories and subject areas to ensure their employees are provided with a solid basis of knowledge and understanding of the dairy ingredient industry. Available as a benefit of ADPI membership, ADPI will provide a customized Dairy 101 basic orientation and training with emphasis on your company’s individual needs.
In order to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the training, an ADPI training team composed of one to two ADPI Center of Excellence members will travel to a location of choice.
