Keller and Heckman LLP Announces its 15th Annual Food Packaging Law Seminar

Global law firm Keller and Heckman will be hosting its 15th Annual Food Packaging Law Seminar on September 16-17, 2014 in Arlington, VA.  This is the industry conference on food packaging law regulations and is designed for regulatory, scientific and legal professionals to keep up-to-date on the latest food packaging law developments.

Previous Keller and Heckman Food Packaging Law Seminars have garnered praise from participants. One attendee described the program as “an excellent opportunity to hear about the basics along with the latest challenges. The expertise of Keller and Heckman is invaluable and they are more than open to some one-on-one time.” Another participant said, “This program is a must for anyone in the packaging regulation field!”

This year’s offering is poised to be similarly well-received. Highlights from the program include an introduction to the basics of food packaging regulation in the U.S. and internationally, a focus on FDA’s Food Contact Notification Program, U.S. chemistry and toxicology considerations, and much more! FDA guest speakers, Dr. Thomas Zebovitz and Dr. April Kluever will offer insight and perspective from FDA on issues of importance to the food packaging industry. Additionally, there will be multiple break-out sessions, which will offer in-depth information on topics such as FDA requirements for drug and device packaging, state law issues, and considerations for recycled plastics and paper.
